IPJA Global Award for 2022 in the category of IPJA APPRECIATION AWARD was given to CLFMA of INDIA for its outstanding work for the welfare of poultry and Livestock industry in India.
We all are aware that CLFMA has been fostering the livestock industry for more than 50 years and has around 230 members representing all the stake holders of the poultry and livestock sector. 
CLFMA of India has done a commendable job in terms of engaging itself with all the stake holders of the Livestock Sector by way of conducting Webinars, Government Liaising & Representations.
To quote few of its achievements, CLFMA closely engaged itself with the relevant stake holders viz associations, government for addressing the price inflation of Soybean, an important protein source of animal feed. With regard to solving the soybean issues CLFMA conducted many deliberations with the government and other relevant associations and raised a single voice and in the year 2021 Ministry of AHDF issued memorandum recommending to Commerce Ministry to allow duty free import of 1.2 million MT of soybean Meal. Also, CLFMA strongly raised voice in suspending the commodity trading for a while and limit on the over stocking, which helped many of the animal farmers. CLFMA also convinced the GOVT. to allow GM NLO Import of soybean meal, which was allowed for short period of time.It also appealed to the govt to exempt 5% GST on frozen chicken. CLFMA has been and guiding light for guiding its members towards meeting the nutritional security of the country.

The IPJA appreciation award was received by Mr. Neeraj Kumar Srivastava- President CLFMA and other member of CLFMA of India. It was given away by Dr. G. Ranjeet Reddy, honorable member of Parliament in the presence of over 300 people from our poultry fraternity including Mr. M. K. vyas, secretary IPJA at Hotel Avassa in Hyderabad.
